Taming the Treadmill and Runnin’ Like Rocky

I got the rest of my miles in on my very loud treadmill.  It made these sounds – kind of like cries of help.  Alex came in and said it sounded like it was yelling “help me.”  Then when I ran on it the sound changed to “ouch! ouch! ouch!”  No kidding.  I am going to have to bite the bullet and invest into getting that thing fixed.  I tried to fix it myself months back.  Had the whole thing apart and have oiled the belt, cleaned around motor, loosened the belt a bit, etc.  It was okay at first, then the loud sound started.  I think it just likes sitting there in our room looking pretty and doesn’t want to be bothered.  I’m calling in the pro’s to take care of this situation – once and for all.  Also if you forgot what it looks like when I train, here’s a video clip to remind you, but who are all those kids???

I wish that is what it looked like when I trained.  I’m getting there though.  Thanks for reading and prayers for those that were in harm’s way this weekend with Irene.
