Early spring snow today.
I gave my knees a break from running and did other things.
I have a couple of other things to fix including a salad and then we’ll be set for the week.
I pulled out my roller and am getting serious about my training.

My knees are a little better and I guess that was maybe a warning or wake up call. Always follow the plan. I’m following the advice of others including our LIFE Runner coach and will see how my knees are on Tuesday – which is when I am scheduled to run next. I may wait a couple more days before doing so too.

I’m getting ready (race is in 3 weeks) for the More/fitness Women’s Half Marathon.
What race are you running in next? What are you doing to prepare?

Glad your knees are feelin’ a little better! Rest days are always worth it if it’ll help stave off an injury!
My next race is a half-marathon the first weekend in May. As far as training goes, I’m actually focusing more on strength training/bootcamp cardio classes than I am on running. I’m OK with distance (as far as cardiovascular goes), but I think I need to strengthen my muscles.
Food looks great! I cooked yesterday too! Glad you’re knees are doing better!!! I deal with it everyday…not fun!
Sorry about the snow! Although it looks like you made “lemonade”! Tasty! My ultimate goal is the Santa Barbara Half Marathon in November, but I’m giving the Chardonnay 5k a whirl in a couple of weeks. I’m using the Couch to Half Marathon program…so far so good! I wish you continued healing with your knees…
We have snow too! 😦 We were planning to go running yesterday but it got cancelled because of the weather. Winter needs to go seriously. 😦
Your pics just made me hungry. YUM!!! I love pesto!
Goodluck with your race!
