Spectacular opening for the 2012 London Olympics. Royalty and rock. Any time you add a lot of drummers to a show, it’s always going to take it over the top. To have one of the the worlds best… Evelyn Glennie leading the pack of hundreds? That was genius.

Then after the euphoria of the drums comes a hysterical interlude with the Queen parachuting out of a helicopter with James Bond right behind her.
Another cool moment was David Beckham delivering the Olympic torch via speed boat while passing under the London Bridge.

The marathons are scheduled for August 5 and 12th. Lots happening before then. Watch it all… Be there!
