To Run A Full Marathon…And So It Begins

What is your plan for 2012?  What are your goals?

Mine???

One of mine for 2012…Run a full marathonSt. Louis, October 21, 2012.  I have other goals too.  However, this one is at the top of the list.

It could be one of the biggest goals I’ve ever set for myself.  Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to achieve many things by God‘s good grace.  I’ve raised a lot of money for charity, made significant contributions to our state’s and nation’s public policies.  Helped my Dad to beat his cancer (developed and helped him carry out his Cancer Battle Plan).

Now though, with the help of my LIFE Runner team-mates, I plan to go for the full marathon.   I have 45 weeks to train for it.  In April, I’ll run a half-marathon either in St. Louis or NYC.  Along the way I plan to raise my largest amount of funds for pregnant women in need…saving more hearts and minds and most importantly more lives than ever before.

So there it is…I’m out there now.  I am visualizing the success of crossing that finish line and making a difference in the most lives possible.

So now…it begins.  What’s your dream?  Is it big?  If not…make it so and then remember – Anything is possible through Christ who strengthens me.

Here’s your morning dose of inspiration.
