Alex and I wanted to do something special for Jim since it was Veterans Day, so he scanned a number of his photo’s into the computer from his days in Vietnam and made a video.
Then we set the table…Alex hung a flag behind Jim’s chair.
Then we fixed a really nice dinner for him.
His cap from boot camp was a centerpiece. 
Cornish hens,
fried potatoes, onions and peppers,
salad
and corn on the cob.
After he arrived home, we had a glass of wine and watched his video. It was full of pictures from his days in Vietnam.
