The No Excuses Running Phase of Training.

734503_10151434291533718_779926986_nHello migraine pain.  Back again?

Had one yesterday so didn’t run.  Today, no excuses so ran anyway.

I’m in the last few weeks of training and have not been a “good soldier.”  So I’m now into “no excuses” phase of training.  I’ve been there before.

Mile one was easiest.  Then mile two could feel the throbbing in my head.  Mile three pretended to be wearing a tight hat and taking it off as soon as mile is done.  Mile four…well just decided to tough it out.  Then cooled down with a half mile feeling good that I pushed through it.

While there I did all my stretches and three sets of leg extensions.  Left with a very red face – as usual.  Drank 32 ounces of water through-out running.

Thanks! Hope you all recovered from the H & B dinner Saturday. It’s really nice that the shop does that for their customers. Have a great day!

Well done for getting it done! You sound like a machine :).

  3. For me, each run goes through this cycle: I don’t think I can, OK this isn’t so bad, this feels good, that was worth it.”
