Even though the skies were a bit threatening…the show must go on. So about 100 or more were at the 5k today to help raise money for the Catholic Diocese of Jefferson City‘s Vocations program.
So blessed to have my awesome team mates Sarah and Hunter running to help get the LIFE Runner message out and build awareness. I think we may have recruited a few too. I’m so glad also that Dolores came out to cheer us on and take pictures.
Sarah and Hunter are helping to build our local chapter of the National LIFE Runners. Thanks guys! 🙂
The route had some pretty good hills as you can see below.
Sarah and Hunter really trucked along… Go Sarah!
The last portion was of course…a hill – it’s Jefferson City, the sister city to San Francisco. 🙂
We ended on a hill…tough! The last part of hill, near the finish, did a slight but long build. The first part of it was just plain steep. Here’s the elevation from start to finish.
It was a great day and a great experience. So glad to share it with Dolores, Sarah, Hunter and the rest of the runners.
That was definitely a hilly run! You all did great!
Great job Guys!!!! Wish I could have been there. Other commitments!
