I think every runner is motivated to do so for a variety of reasons. However, at the heart of that motivation is usually something that runs much deeper than our own health. As a member of the National LIFE Runners team I too pray as I run and offer up the pain and fatigue that comes with such. As we go into the winter months – with the shorter days and longer nights, I encourage everyone to take up running especially if you are susceptible to depression, poor health, etc. Running will change your life. It may be difficult at first but be consistent and persistent. Then offer it all up as a prayer…your life will never be the same.
Here’s a wonderful article about Jeff Grabosky who is helping to put together a coast to coast marathon relay route for the National LIFE Runners. If you would like to join our team or get more info, go to www.run.lifegroup413.org or email group contact@lifegroup413.org
Have a great day and think about running with us …for life!

New York is setting to one of the country’s, if not the world’s, most popular marathons, drawing more than 45,000 participants who will pound the pavement for 26.2 miles. Whether you will be running this iconic marathon or not, whether you are a runner yourself or know someone who is, then you surely know that everyone runs for a different reason. These reasons – whether it be to lose weight, train for a race, raise money for a charity, or to burn off stress – is what drives runners to push through the miles.
