My Dad was like Super Man in my eyes. He could fix anything, hunt, fish, ride bike further than most, had great sense of humor and loved by many.
He was so faithful too. I have many letters from him that give me examples of his great faith in God. I framed one and have it on wall next to my bed. First thing I see in morning and last thing at night.
He is gone now but his spirit lives on in so much my daily life. I strive to follow his and my mom’s example.
He didn’t need a cape…armed with his deep faith in God, country and us – his children, he changed the world in many ways and continues to do so through me and my 5 brothers/sisters. Love and miss him. Happy Fathers Day!
