My Great American Road Trip to South Dakota

You can also download it onto your computer too. Fr. Joseph Coffey, LIFE Runner, Naval Chaplain and friend, went with us to Rapid City, SD. He is good friends with Pat and Angi and also gave the opening prayer with remarks at the Change of Command ceremony. He also con-celebrated Sunday’s Mass with the Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church in Rapid City.

I tried to capture some of the beauty of SD in this video. The scenery was absolutely breath-taking. The point of the trip though was to support our friend, Lt Col Pat Castle who is a new commander at Ellsworth AFB. Pat is the founder and Coach for the National LIFE Runners too. As another sign of support, many of us wore our LIFE Runner shirts during the trip.

Our official training for the October marathon begins Tuesday. I’ll write more about that later. Watch the video, be inspired and have a great day!
